Grand Palace is a complex of buildings of residence of King of Thailand.The king, his court and his royal government were based on the grounds of the palace until 1925. The present monarch, KingBhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX), currently resides at Chitralada Royal Villa in the Dusit Palace, but the Grand Palace is still used for official events. Several royal ceremonies and state functions are held within the walls of the palace every year. The palace is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Thailand. (Wikipedia)
At first I really wanna go to Grand Palace because they said you haven't gone to Bangkok if you haven't gone to Grand Palace yet. So, I went with my family during their trip to Bangkok. we need to pay 500 baht as a tourist for enterance all the kingdom complex. It's really awesome place! There's a lot of amazing architecture covered by gold and also so many place for you to take a really good picture. It's always crowded in Grand Palace, so I advice you to bring van and hat or umbrella!
How I go to Grand Palace:
Take 75 Bus, stop in Saphan Taksin BTS Station (13 baht) . Go to the back side of Saphan Taksin BTS Station and take Orange Boat to Grand Palace, you have to stop at pier (harbour) N9 Tha Chang (13/14 baht)
